Our Story.

Bodyfitness Wellness Spa is set in an historic 100 year old building in the beautiful riverside town of Waikerie, South Australia.

Founder Donna Matthews began her career in Adelaide and has been in the beauty industry for 20 years. Her aim is to provide the people of the Riverland with the same high quality treatments and products available to those in the city. Keeping abreast of evolving techniques, products and trends means regularly updating skills and qualifications and adding new emerging product lines to the spa.

Bodyfitness Wellness Spa provides a welcoming, warm and relaxing environment to immerse yourself in while you take time out from your day. An immediate sense of space and calm is felt on entering the tastefully renovated heritage building. The treatment rooms are large and beautifully appointed and an extensive range of spa, salon and skincare services is available.

With a passion for all things local, the spa boasts a large array of South Australian products and currently ninety five percent of retail and treatment products are Australian made. Putting back into the local community through volunteering, local sponsorships and donations is a way of thanking the community for their support.

Donna and her team take pride in recommending only products they love and use themselves. They offer both premium doctor formulated cosmeceuticals and organic skin care lines. Stocking a large range of body care, men’s care, gift lines and of course gift vouchers, means that you can always find something special for yourself or someone you love and the online store makes it easy to shop in the comfort of your own home.
